Robin of Locksley is a rebel, more comfortable roaming Sherwood Forest with his longbow and courting the village girls than learning how to run a manor.
An innocent flirtation with a peasant girl soon lands Robin in trouble, and worse, he finds himself inexplicably attracted to Will Scathelock, his best friend since childhood. Robin must decide whether to follow the rules of society or his own conscience.
Meanwhile, his neighbour, Guy of Gisborne, is anxious to get his hands on the Locksley estate and he will do anything to make it happen - even murder.

Enquiring minds want to know...
1. What internet site do you surf the most?
Probably audible.co.uk, the best home for audiobooks in the world.
2. Tell us something no one knows about you?
Before I became an author, I wanted to be a musician. I play the piano and I love to sing when I’m sure no one can hear me. I also used to write music at one time. I had a bit of an epiphany one day and decided that I would rather write novels than music as a career, but I still enjoy music as a hobby.
3. Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully I’ll still be writing. This series will consist of five books, which is bound to keep me going for a while, but I have several ideas for future stories, and by the time I write them all I’ll probably be elderly.
4. What is the one question you are never asked as an author but wish you were? Then answer the question.
No one has yet asked me how I feel about reviews I receive. I will admit I don’t find criticism easy to take. However, I know it’s impossible to please everybody. What I do find difficult is when people are abusive in their reviews or make statements about an author as though they know them. By all means if you don’t like my novel, you’re at liberty to say so, but let’s keep it friendly, shall we?
5. If your sweetheart wanted to sweep you off your feet, what would they need to do?
I think maybe the knight in shining armour routine would work with me. If he carried me off to a romantic spot and swore undying love to me, I probably wouldn’t be able to resist.
6. How important are secondary characters to your story telling? Do you actively try to have women characters in your M/M to balance the male focus of the MCs?
All characters in a book are important, and it’s often the secondary characters who are the most important as they can influence the decisions in development of the hero. Yes, I like to have strong female characters in my books, especially as this series isn’t straightforward M/M romance. However, I admit, I enjoy writing about men the most.
7. What are your views on social media for marketing?
It’s a great way of getting your book out there, but unfortunately there’s so much going on that your spotlight is over almost as soon as it has begun. To market effectively, you have to keep up a relentless social media presence, which isn’t something I find easy. I only generally go on social media when I have something I want to say. I find it difficult just to chat for the sake of chatting.
8. What has been the best compliment you received as an author?
I think when someone told me my story was very sympathetic. That really made my day. I really do want readers to feel for the plight of my characters. I think that’s the most important thing about a novel. If readers can’t relate to the characters, they won’t enjoy the story. They don’t even necessarily have to like them, just understand what motivates them to behave as they do.
9. What is the biggest surprise you have experienced after becoming an author?
As yet I haven’t experienced any real surprises, but it’s always a pleasant shock when someone tells you they have read and enjoyed your book. I don’t think you ever get tired of hearing that.
10. If you could have been the author of any book ever written, which book would you choose and why?
I wish I’d come up with the Harry Potter series. Those books are simply amazing. The plotting is second to none. To have come up with something that could capture the imaginations of so many people all over the world and transcend barriers of culture is pretty incredible.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
