is NOW LIVE EVERYWHERE!
Jamie Teller has had a rough year. After being blackmailed by a teammate, weathering a sex scandal, and being traded to a team on the other side of the continent, he’s overwhelmed and looking for a distraction. A sexy threesome with his burly roommate and his wife wasn’t expected–neither is his sudden attraction to a guy.
Viggo Sjoberg has been openly bisexual since he was 17, but always assumed he would settle down with a woman. When he’s surprised with news he has a child from a past fling, he jumps headfirst into marriage and fatherhood, but his new wife isn’t what she appeared to be. Adding to Viggo’s confusion are the feelings aroused by his seemingly straight roommate, Jamie.
When Jamie moves thousands of miles away, Viggo tells himself it’s over. Until a life-changing event puts the two men on a collision course. Suddenly, Jamie needs Viggo—badly—and Viggo is prepared to do whatever it takes to help. Even if it means he has to give up everything he always thought he wanted.

About the Author
Kat Mizera is a South Florida native. Born in Miami Beach with a healthy dose of wanderlust, she’s called Los Angeles, Long Island, upstate New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Atlanta home. She’s never been able to pick which locale is her favorite, but if pressed, she’d probably choose the west coast.
Kat’s a typical PTA mom with a wonderful and supportive husband (Kevin) and two amazing boys (Nick and Max). When she’s not writing, she’s either scrapbooking or indulging in her second love (after writing) – traveling. Greece is one of her favorite places in the world. She loves that Athens is a big city with a small-town feel. The food, beaches and culture keep her going back as often as possible. She hopes to retire there one day so she can spend her days writing books on the beach.
Kat has been a working freelance writer for nearly 30 years. She sold her first article–a review of a rock concert–for $10 in 1985. Since then she’s been an entertainment journalist, waitress, bartender, legal assistant, food critic, magazine editor, substitute teacher, and sports writer. She also spent some time working at A & M Records in Los Angeles.
As you can guess from her series, the Las Vegas Sidewinders, Kat loves hockey. She is also a freelance hockey writer, covering her favorite team, the Florida Panthers, and any other teams that have an interesting story. The rest of the time, she writes novels: sexy, romantic fiction that she hopes makes you as happy as it makes her. There’s something enticing about hockey players and romance…

Temptation's Inferno is my first experience with author Kat Mizera and even though this is the second book in the series I had no problem following along. The author includes enough bits of information from past characters that the reader understands who is who while at the same time filling in small gaps with the back history making it easily read as a standalone.
Temptation's Inferno is about love, first and foremost, and that it comes in all forms. Whether your gay, straight, bi or uncertain the most important thing is to love yourself.
Jamie and Viggo are roommates and have been for a year but, after some media controversy, Jamie has been traded to another hockey team. He agreed to the trade but he doesn't want to go. The weekend before he's to leave, Viggo's wife, Emilie, along with their daughter Simone, move into Jamie's apartment.
Thinking no one is there but himself, Jamie walks in on Viggo and Emilie having a very heated sexual encounter in the living room that he can't turn away from. When they ask if he wants to join them, he does so willingly, but the outcome has left him blindsided and confused.
Jamie has always been straight, has never looked at another man—in that way—until Viggo kisses him and now his world is turned upside down. Viggo understands the confusion, the conflict, the guilt, and shame that Jamie is going through because he went through it himself, but he no longer hides who he is, nor is he ashamed and lives as an out and proud bisexual man.
He is patient and understanding and very supportive of Jamie and willing to help in any way to allow him to come to terms with these new feelings. Their love for each other is so genuine, so natural, so easy Jamie can't deny or turn away from what is happening but he admits that while he knows he wants Viggo, he's having a hard time facing what it all means.
I love the dynamic the author has in place with Viggo, Jamie, and Emilie, as they work through the conflicting emotions each is experiencing. Emilie has her own problems from something in her past that's not touched on too heavily, but she admits that she can not be the wife, nor does she want to be the wife, Viggo needs. She is always on board and involved with all decisions between Viggo and Jamie and she was very influential in helping these two men come together.
Kat Mizera has written a very thought-provoking and an edge of your seat love story that will keep you glued to the pages from start to finish. I love the confidence Viggo has in himself and in turn, he's able to be the backbone of strength and support for Jamie.
There is a lot of love in this book, so much love with mature themes but it touches on much more such as hate crimes and the length people will go, depression, PTSD, and team sportsmanship. Fear and anxiety rule so many emotions, doubts, and insecurities pop up constantly, but strength and courage prevail.
There are places that are hard to read and could be triggers for some readers. While this is fiction it doesn't make it any less real and these unthinkable, horrific acts of violence are happening in real life every day. There are places that are heartbreaking as we watch a mother struggle to do what she must for the love of her child. There are places that you will hold your breath and wonder if you can get through to the next page—these places are significant and relevant—but love wins this fight and it was beautiful to watch it come together. #NoLabelsForHate
Temptation's Inferno has some amazing secondary characters that are funny, strong, and super supportive and Jamie and Viggo call them friends and they never let them down. They stand in solidarity and as a united front showing the world that love wins over hate. The story closes with an incredible epilogue that will bring a huge smile to your face and joy to your heart.
Even though I don't, for the most part, read M/F stories, I am really considering reading the next book, in the series—Redemption—to find out what Emilie's story is and hopefully to get more of Jamie and Viggo. The author has pulled me into this world and I'm not ready to leave. Highly recommended.
