Fame and Fortune

An All Cocks Story book #2

Victor Dimir moved to America with his traditional Romanian parents when he was just a child. His Romani parents taught him their traditions and how to be a shrewd business man. But it was the attention of a classmate at school that taught a teenage Victor about his sexuality. When he came out to his parents he knew it would be difficult for them to understand, but he never expected them to disown him.

Andrew Jones grew up with a single mom and his grandmother teaching him about life, he had an absentee father at best. The only thing the man ever did for Andy that stuck was buy him a camera for his thirteenth birthday. When Andrew went off to college on a scholarship to study photo journalism, he wound up falling in love with his Romanian roommate.

They became inseparable and wound up starting their own business together; a gay porn website where people could go and watch romantic gay porn instead of the rough and tough, or wham bam thank you man crap that was flooding the internet at that time. After ten years together they were still perfectly happy, they didn’t even realize something was missing, until they met a broken young man that needed a family.

Matthew Carlson was homeless, jobless and broken. He’d been on his own since he was sixteen when he ran away from home after being brutally assaulted by several other young men that he thought were his friends, and then being told he brought it on himself for being gay by his parents. Matthew has done a lot of things these last few years just to get by. When he finds the flyer for All Cocks, he decides to call and see where it leads. What has he got to lose?

Matthew has deep rooted scars that aren’t usually visible on the outside. But when he walks into All Cocks, both Victor and Andrew see them, they also see him. Can three men that didn’t even realize they needed each other get past the stigma of society to find a place of happiness, together?

*Advisory warning: This story contains a scene of sexual assault.*

GUEST POST

BY T.M. SMITH

Some of my favorite Audiobooks…

It’s very difficult to list a top 10 since I listen to 100 or more Audiobooks annually. My day job is spent at a desk, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, so Audiobooks are my saving grace. I listen to any genre as well, so some of my favorites aren’t in the MM or LGBT genre. I really enjoy keeping tabs on the movies that are coming out each year and trying to listen to the Audiobooks before hand, especially if it’s an extremely long story.

Here are a few of the Audiobooks that are on my ‘I’d listen to these all day, every day’ list…

Matter of Time series by Mary Calmes - http://www.audible.com/series/ref=a_search_c4_1_3_1srSrs_sa?asin=B00IUQEWVO
I have listened to these books multiple times and thoroughly enjoy them each and every time. This is a series that changed narrators a couple of times including once with a narrator I’m not a fan of. So that book has only been listened to the one required time to continue on with the series.

Cole McGinnis series by Rhys Ford –

Oh but I simply love these books. The coupling of Rhys Ford’s writing and Greg Tremblay’s narration is the perfect marriage.

Sinners series by Rhys Ford –

Again, I love these books. For this motley crew of men that love hard and fight for each other even harder, Tristan James carries the numerous voices that need to be heard.

All Souls series by Deborah Harkness  - http://www.audible.com/series/ref=a_search_c4_1_1_1srSrs_sa?asin=B005NACAFU

If you are a fan of epic sages, books with thousands of pages and a ton of multi-faceted characters from witches to vampires and warlocks and everything in between. You’ll love the All Souls series. Each of these books was 25 hours or more on audio and I never got bored, not with any of them, not even once. I hope and pray that one day, a studio with snatch the rights to these amazing books and make movies or a TV show out of them.

Cardeno C – this woman is the queen of shifter stories and there is always a happy ending for her books. I’ll purchase any e-book or audiobook of hers, as long as it’s not narrated by Jeff Gelder.

Of course I have to include my books on this list –

My SciFi/ Dystopian series, Opposites, is narrated by Greg Boudreaux. The All Cocks series started with Tony Clark, but I wanted something different for Victor and a few other characters that come into play with major storylines in the books going forward. Joel Leslie, who has such a variety of tones and inflections when bringing a book to life, has signed on to narrate all of the All Cocks stories going forward, starting with Fame and Fortune. We just had a conversation about How to Deal and I’m so happy to say, you can expect Jon and cranky Kory’s story to hit audiobook in late October!

There are a few narrators that I’d recommend as well. These narrators are go to voices I love and I’ll buy an audiobook simply because they are narrating it.

• Joel Leslie
• Greb Tremblay
• Greg Boudreaux
• Paul Morey
• Tristan James
• Sean Crisden
• Michael Stellman
• KC Kelly
• Charlie David
