#ReleaseDay • Review • Cobra: The Gay Vigilante (Origins - Episode One) by Nicholas Bella

"He saw me as his hero, but I'm nobody's hero."

At least that's what I tell myself. My name is Eric Cayden, and I'm a man with some pretty extraordinary abilities. It's because I have these superhuman powers, my best friend, Jordan, sees me as hero material. I'm not the only one in the world with special abilities, of course.

Some people have already stepped up to the plate and made themselves martyrs, but I'm not about self-sacrificing for the greater good and all that crap. Not anymore. I've already bled for my country. Now, I just want to live a normal life in the shadows and make a lot of money doing odd jobs on the side. Is that too much to ask?

Well, according to my friend, Jordan, I'm destined to be something better than a glorified errand boy. He thinks I have a higher calling. He thinks I can be a hero. Well, I'm not too sure about the hero part, but I do hate it when bad people get away with doing evil things. So maybe, just maybe Jordan has a point. We'll see, won't we?

Warning: This is a novelette serial series that will be coming at you fully loaded with hot, gay sex. Yes, there will be all kinds of bodily fluids splashing and squirting in all directions with each episode. Expect body parts to be sliced, diced, gouged, and even ripped apart because I don't half step. This is a series intended for adults only, who want a superhero that loves to play dirty... and by dirty, I mean grimy as hell.

REVIEW

★★★★★

Are you kidding me? …. Well, that was my first thought but I continued to read and soon discovered the cleverness of Nicholas Bella was at play once again. The first page is an eye-opener!

Eric Cayden is a badass, plain and simple. He makes no apologies for what he does. However, underneath his “I will kill you” persona, I believe he has a heart of gold. Maybe a little tarnished, but still, he’s a good guy.

Eric was a soldier and through bits and pieces of information we learn that a military experiment went bad and now he’s left with special abilities allowing him to change form, have super strength, and so on, but he’s also on his own, hiding from the world.

What exactly happened, we don’t know, but I think it holds a lot of answers that readers will be dying to know, myself included. We do get breadcrumbs but I need more. Nicholas Bella, what the heck? I know, I know, all in good time, right? Lol

Eric meets Jordan, his now best friend, by accident after hearing him cry out from being attacked. Due to Eric’s fast thinking and fast actions he saved Jordan and gained an instant friend. Now 6-months later, they bicker and fight, kiss and make-up, fuck like rabbits, as though they’ve been together for years and you can’t help but laugh as they banter back and forth.

In this first episode, Eric and Jordan, are pretty much on the run. They live in a run down, out of the way, old building to stay hidden but since danger seems to find them on every corner they are on the move again. Eric has no issue with leaving bodies behind, which kind of surprised me, because I think I had envisioned him to be Clark Kent, which he is not, Lol.

However, Jordan is the real hero here, I think. He believes in Eric 100%, he is his biggest supporter and cheerleader. He is the brains and Eric is the brawn which makes a great partnership.  And, because of Jordan’s persistent nagging, he convinces Eric to use his abilities for something better. For those who can’t help themselves, like Jordan found himself, 6 months prior.

Nicholas Bella always finds a way to “wow” me with the cleverness and ingenuity that he instills in the characters he creates. The world-building feels like something you can turn on the TV and see and yet he adds his flair and originality and you are sucked into another series.

As Eric gets his footing as Cobra: The Gay Vigilante, I’m excited to see where and what he gets into and I’m equally as excited that Jordan will be helping him sort through the chaos of good and evil. Superhero lovers will love this series from Nicholas Bella that shows promise full of non-stop action and sexy hotness!! 5 stars

Meet the Author

About me? Hmmm, I'm just a person with a wild imagination and a love for words who was sitting around the house one day and said, "Why hasn't anyone written a book like this before?". As with every storyteller, I wanted to share mine with the world. I like my erotica dark, gritty, sexy... and even a little raunchy. I'm not afraid to go there and I hope you aren't afraid to go there with me. When I'm not writing, I love watching movies and TV shows, clubbing, biking, and hanging out with family and friends. I love life.

I'd love to hear from you, feel free to send me a shout out! www.nicholasbella.com
