Happy Holidays and Happy Reading from MM Book Escape!!
From Ella Frank’s Sunset Cove series and Brooke Blaine’s L.A. Liaisons series comes a scorchingly hot novel that blends humor, passion, and romance.
What happens when these two worlds collide?
Ace Locke is Hollywood’s hottest action hero. Women across the globe fling their panties in his direction, but Ace isn’t interested in those—he’s more of a boxer briefs kind of guy. Specifically, those of the nearly naked male model on a billboard he drives past every day.
Though he recently made headlines for his public coming out, Ace is wary about pursuing a relationship, fearing what the court of public opinion will do to his career. But there’s something in the model’s expression that intrigues him and has him wondering what if?
Dylan Prescott just scored his biggest modeling campaign yet. One that has him plastered all over L.A. in not much more than what he was born with. And when he’s cast in Ace’s latest blockbuster, it puts him in close proximity to his ultimate fantasy.
Outwardly confident, Dylan has no problem with his sexuality or his pretty-boy looks, and uses both to his advantage to get what he wants.
And what he wants is the impossible—Ace Locke.
OMFG!!!! This book rocks! Aced by Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine will definitely be one of my top reads this year. This is the first time reading a collaboration of these two authors and wow did I love it. From the first page till the last you will smile, laugh out loud, giggle. . .yes, actually giggle and just be filled with so much joy as you go on the ride of your life with Ace and Dylan.
Ace Locke is a big time movie celebrity and every day he goes out of his way to drive by a billboard that has the most gorgeous Calvin Klein model in a skimpy pair of tighty whities that he has to ogle over. He is obsessed with this man who now stars in all of his fantasies—so imagine his surprise when he walks in to go over the script for his new movie—and there is Mr. Billboard himself.
Dylan cannot believe he is going to be working with Ace Locke. He has watched every one of his movies more than a few times, but being around him in person is a whole other experience. One he’s not sure what to make of just yet, but he’s pretty sure Ace is flirting with him and he’s not stupid. He flirts back.
We met Dylan in Devil’s Kiss as Derek’s roommate and I couldn’t wait then to get his story and here it is. I have to say that it is everything and more that I could have hoped for. Dylan is sweet, funny, and very charming—and used to getting what he wants—and he doesn’t like to take no for an answer.
Ace came out publicly with his sexuality but he’s not been seen with anyone because of the paparazzi so he’s really low-key and very reserved but Dylan doesn’t let that stand in his way. As a matter of fact, being behind locked doors and closed windows works in their favor. . .most of the time. When these two are together—they exude passion with so much intensity that it will cause you to hyperventilate—if you don’t pace yourself while reading. They are super hot!!
"Correction, commander. This look... this look means I want to be fucked."
Their chemistry is off the freaking charts and you will not be able to get enough. Besides the chemistry, they also have an understanding between them that usually just takes a look or a touch and they know what the other one is thinking or needs. They are so in tune with each other making them a perfect couple. They can't even fight without getting turned on. :)
Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine have captured everything in this book that makes reading such a delight and the reason I have an addiction to it. The descriptive narrative captivates the reader and keeps you glued to the pages.
The magnetic pull between the two characters is undeniably strong, the banter these two engage in is hilarious and your jaws will ache from smiling so much. The plot is edgy with a little mystery and suspense that will be continued on to the next book and the sex and the intimacy is explosive.
The passion they have for each other, at times, is raw and aggressive—and when it’s not—it is sensitive and tender. Another major factor that does it for me, they are not afraid to be vulnerable in front of each other because they know they are safe. Both, Ace and Dylan are stepping into uncharted territory but they agree they want to do it together.
This book took so many detours I never saw coming and I can only say that wow, holy shit, hang on, cause it’s fast and furious. It’s hotter than the depths of hell, and it’s all kinds of awesome!!! So freaking awesome and OMG, it's continued.!!! YES!!! Absolutely 5 Stars.
“ACE LOCKE JETS OFF TO SIN CITY WITH MYSTERY MAN”
Sorry, ladies—and fellas—Hollywood’s hottest action star, Ace Locke, is officially off the market!
The man on Locke’s arm has been identified as Dylan Prescott, the sexy new “it” model currently featured in the latest Calvin Klein ads. Sources tell TNZ the men met on the set of Locke’s upcoming action film Insurrection 2, and that “they only have eyes for each other.”
This is the first public gay relationship for Locke, who came out a year ago, and there has been much speculation on who would finally be the one to catch his eye.
According to multiple eyewitnesses, Locke whisked Prescott away on his private jet for a romantic weekend at Syn, the most exclusive hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. After pictures recently surfaced of the new couple, affectionately named PresLocke, it appears from the possessive way Locke keeps his new beau close that things are heating up.
The world is watching #PresLocke, and we’ll be sure to keep you up to date on this budding relationship!
Ace and Dylan’s story continues in Book Two of the Bestselling PresLocke Series.
DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!!! Trying to stay #LipLocked tight with so many emotions and feelings for Locked. As soon as I started reading, the adrenaline started pumping—a rapid beat in my pulse—from where I’d left it at the end of Aced.
I was so proud of both, Ace and Dylan, as they made their decision—as they walked hand in hand—head held high—with imaginary fingers in the air saluting any naysayers that had gathered in swarms. My nerves were tangled and twisted and I swear I had sweat beads forming on my forehead as they made their way through the lobby. I wanted to be there badly on the other end to hug them for a job well done and I actually exhaled loudly as the car drove away.
Whewww! That is the power of excellent writing.
There isn’t much I can add to this that others haven’t already said other than to reemphasize that #PresLocke is a #MustRead series. I couldn’t really put my finger on what was so different about this series compared to others that I adore and then it came to me in the early hours in bed.
This is a romance! A real, honest to goodness, romance. From infatuation to flirting, to testing the waters, laying the groundwork, becoming friends, real friends, best friends—to the one person you know without a doubt you can trust above any other—and one day without warning you realize that this is the one.
They have their troubles—they have lots of trouble—but the difference here, they solve them together. It’s sexy, unbelievably sexy, sinful, and had me swooning like a lovesick fool. “Stop being so damn polite when we both know you’re dying to be anything but.” – Dylan. I had a smile plastered across my face through most of the book and I caught myself several times looking around to see if anyone was watching me, LOL.
My heart was so full of happy and it was because of Ace and Dylan and their exuberance they had for each other and it spilled over onto the pages and right into my heart.
Dylan became an anchor for Ace, his rock, that kept him steady, centered, and grounded, and they never veered from that. “Because with you, I’ve found me.” -Ace
#LipLocked with what I want to say because there were parts that were like a punch to the gut, scenes that took my breath away, scenes that made me feel like a teenager in love again for the first time, and times that my heart was so full that I thought it would burst with the love that was evolving within these pages.
Locked should in—no way—be read before Aced because it would be a travesty to not get the full exposure of these two magnetic, exuberant, full of life, men who grow and find themselves and each other under the watchful and sometimes negative eye of the public, but they don’t let that stand in their way of what is turning out to be the best thing that has ever happened to them.
Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine write lyrical prose that takes the reader on a journey of ebbs and flows giving us an inside look at their characters—in this case—Ace and Dylan. We see the real person(s) behind the public persona. Ace and Dylan learn to love themselves, to dig deeper, have faith in their dreams and press on in the fear of uncertainty.
As they acknowledge certain feelings, give them voice and acceptance to feel the ugly, scary stuff and darkness, it opens a new light and window and even invites laughter, lots of laughter. And isn’t that the medicine for the soul. A highly recommended read that any contemporary romance lover should gobble up and devour.
