#Review Sacrifices (Kingdom of Ara - Book Four) by Nicholas Bella + Giveaway

Théoden: It looks as though I have everything I've wanted, well, I do, but I paid a high cost for it. The loss I've suffered will never happen again if I can help it. Right now, my sons are enjoying their night off from their duties. I think after what happened, a little fun and lots of sex is just what we need. Although I'm indulging myself in good times, my eyes are always on the future and what it holds.

Noel: The fact that I almost died isn't lost on me at all. I plan to make the most of my life for as long as I live, and considering that I'm immortal, my future is looking pretty bright. As for my son, Romeo, I'm going to be putting him through a few of my tests. He needs to prove himself not only worthy of the House of Théoden. He needs to prove himself worthy of me. I won't be letting him off easy.

Deacon: It seems that everything that I had been plotting for has completely blown up in my face. Elijah isn't happy with me, but he's my mate, we'll get through this. We have to. I know one thing, in spite of my original plans backfiring... I still see hope.

Josef: The sacrifices I've had to make and still need to make are weighing on me. It's not easy to lose damn near everything that meant something to me in hopes that what I gain will be worth it all. I have to believe that claiming my mate is worth the risk of losing my sons forever. Only time will tell.

Warning: This serial contains strong adult content not meant for sensitive eyes. The novelettes in this serial will be filled with dark, twisted, raunchy and steamy scenes between powerful, sexy men that will either offend you or get ya revved up. This series will not be pulling any punches, and it won’t apologize for hurting your feelings, either. You’ll find no fluff and ruffles here. The vampires are not misunderstood, hopeless romantics looking for love. The werewolves are not cute and cuddly, and the dragons aren’t the ones from your childhood. This is NOT a romance.

Sacrifices, the finale to The New Haven Series, doesn’t necessarily answer a lot of unanswered questions as much as it opens up a whole host of new questions. What it does show, however, is a lot of growth and maturity the vampires have developed over the course of the series.

Noel -  has really found himself and has truly embraced his life as a vampire. He has come the furthest, imo, with the changes he has made, both mentally and emotionally, and could not be prouder to be the son of Théoden. His goal is to show everything he has learned from Marco and his Master to Romeo and have him be completely on board with his actions.

Josef-  is still coming to terms with losing the battle to Théoden, but he is holding up his end of the bargain by turning over his sons as promised. You have to give credit where credit is due, and I think Josef deserves it for the way he is handling the situation. He may back-stab later on but right now he is behaving with honor and pride and the way an alpha should behave. It’s hard to not to feel a tad sorry for him though because Théoden sure likes to rub it in his face.

Théoden - God, I love that man! He is so evil and manipulative but he does care for his sons and that’s evident with Ryu as he thinks back over their first time meeting, how he took his breath away with his beauty, and now as he plans his funeral. I admit, I had a few tears as the ceremony takes place and I imagine the pride and respect in Soldier Field for this vampire was breathtaking.

Deacon – not to be left out has a plan up his sleeve to get his little piece of the pie, but I’m not sure where he will fit into any of this. He is the culprit, after all, that started this whole mess, but now that Théoden and Josef have joined forces I’m not sure how Deacon fits in. However, Eli has come up with a good and devious plan so time will tell how/if it will work out and the big question is. . . will it work out? I foresee bad things coming their way and I don’t need a crystal ball for that.

Nicholas Bella brings New Haven to a close with more questions than answers but I really didn’t expect anything less. Even though New Haven changes course, it’s not the end of the world because a new world is opening up and it’s called Odin. I can’t wait to see what happens in these new districts as the vampires we love take over as the new leaders and we learn more about each one.

Sacrifices were made by several to get all of the players where they are now, but who will sacrifice themselves next and who will be left standing at the head of it all? I wouldn’t even wager a guess at this point but I can’t wait to find out. It appears Nicholas Bella still has a few surprise guests waiting to make an appearance. 5 Stars

About Nicholas Bella

About me? Hmmm, I'm just a person with a wild imagination and a love for words who was sitting around the house one day and said, "Why hasn't anyone written a book like this before?". As with every storyteller, I wanted to share mine with the world. I like my erotica dark, gritty, sexy... and even a little raunchy. I'm not afraid to go there and I hope you aren't afraid to go there with me. When I'm not writing, I love watching movies and TV shows, clubbing, biking, and hanging out with family and friends. I love life.

I'd love to hear from you, feel free to send me a shout out! Follow Nicholas on Goodreads,  Twitter or www.nicholasbella.com
