Blurb: All Malachi wanted was to forget about what they’d all just endured with Victor and Nicholas and spend the rest of his life with the love of his life…Megan.
That’s what he thought he wanted.
What he found out was that giving up his desire to be a Dom isn’t as easy as he thought it would be, and Megan isn’t about to pretend like she is sexually submissive. Not gonna happen! They love each other tremendously but just need another…addition to their party of two. Malachi needs an obedient, quiet, and trained male submissive to fulfill the Dom inside of him. Megan needs a submissive that has enough experience in the world that is new to her to help her through her learning stage. That isn’t what either of them gets.
Enter Justice Conners. He’s the opposite of everything they wanted…but is he just what they both needed?
I loved this story so much. We met Malachi in, Wait For Me, along with his lover Megan. They have been trying for a year to make their relationship work, but they have been missing something they both crave. A submissive partner. Malachi and Megan, both, are dominant and neither one willing to be submissive in their relationship. They love each other more than anything but this has definitely caused complications between them.
When Malachi is asked to give protection to Dante’s FBI friend, Christopher Conners’ son, he is not thrilled, at all. Against his better judgment, he decides to take the assignment which will take him away from Megan and his home for one month. Even though he can’t see it, everyone at the house thinks it will be good for their relationship to have a break.
Twenty-one year old Justice Conners is looking for something to ease the restless and antsy feelings inside of him. He’s not sure what he needs but after researching BDSM on the internet, he decides to hire a professional to see if it will help.
What he didn’t expect was to get caught up in a shooting and be the only credible witness against the killers. Now, he has no choice but to go into protective custody. Being tucked away in the middle of nowhere with Malachi until the trial is not going to be fun…or so he thought.
Escaping from Malachi was his first mistake. As soon as Malachi finds him and slaps a pair of handcuffs on him, something happens. He is immediately calm and at peace. Being a Dom, Malachi can tell the minute Justice changes. With a new plan of action, Malachi takes Justice under his wing and starts to train him in submission.
Of course, it’s not quite that easy because Justice is annoying, talkative, and driving Malachi to contemplate his demise, lol not really. Justice, also, has never even considered being with a man. He’s willing to try anything though if it will help him find some peace and it doesn’t hurt that Malachi seems to be hitting every one of his buttons.
Justice is snarky and has a quick wit that will have you laughing hysterically. Malachi is reserved and cold hearted and lives his life with a routine that never changes. He has his own reasons for being the way he is and had a horrible childhood that still haunts him. At first, he is just interested in putting Justice through his paces to settle him and give him some structure. After watching him take to submission so beautifully he can’t help but start to think long-term. Could adding Justice to their relationship be just what the two dominant lovers need?
TS McKinney and BJ Grinder have taken three people, all with different personalities, and made the perfect triad. They each bring something different into the relationship and it balances out. It’s not all wine and roses, however, because jealousy begins to rear its ugly head. Also, Justice hasn’t been as honest with them as he should have been. He had a terrible childhood before he was adopted by Christopher Conners and he also has RAD (Reactive Detachment Disorder). This disorder causes him to have several triggers that, if not handled correctly, can cause him a lot of distress.
For me, this story had everything I love to read. This is an m/f/m story but most of the focus is on Malachi and Justice. There is suspense and danger that elevates the intensity by several notches. The sex is hot and plentiful and especially beautiful between all three, even though my preference is m/m.
The authors done an excellent job presenting the BDSM elements into the plot and watching Justice accept his submission was beautiful and amazing. Watching Malachi grow as a Dom was equally amazing. The best parts were watching them outside of the playroom find their bearings and realize that they were falling in love with each other.
The execution of the plot flowed seamlessly and really held my attention throughout. It was also fun to catch up with Dante and Travis and Jasper and Susanna. The suspense was palpable although it did come to a conclusion a little faster than I was expecting. But…there is also a surprise thrown in, at least for me it was, and I hope that we get the story of Emilio and Bronx in the near future.
Overall, Justice for Me, was a gratifying and enjoyable read with laugh out loud humor, sex that was explosive and a plot with amazing characters and storyline. I would definitely recommend reading this as well as the first book, Wait for Me. It’s not necessary to read both but the back history is definitely worth having.
