Up until now, Logan Mitchell has never had much of a reason to trust anyone.
Having struggled with a self-identity crisis throughout college, he’s spent the years since then creating a sophisticated facade to present to the world.
It’s an armor he thought was impenetrable—until he met Tate Morrison.
The gorgeous, headstrong bartender he’d sat across from only months ago has taken a tight hold of his heart, and Logan is discovering that it’s time to let go.
It’s time to let someone inside.

After years of placing his dreams on hold for his family, Tate has finally chosen to do what makes him happy and follow his heart.
The one thing he never would’ve imagined was that it would lead him into the arms of a man—and not just any man—the striking, never-takes-no-for-an-answer Logan Mitchell.
Tate has fallen hard, and as his world is turned on its axis and they move forward together, he finds his life becoming more entwined with the confident, successful lawyer.

Even though neither man expected the other, it’s time to trust in their relationship—but not everything comes so easily…

I have been waiting for Trust, by Ella Frank, just like hundreds of other addicted readers to this series. Ella Frank did not disappoint at all. The third and final book to the Temptation series could not have ended on a more perfect note.
Trust is definitely NOT a standalone. You must read the first two in order to understand the dynamics and get the full impact of Logan and Tate’s relationship. It has certainly been a work in progress for Logan but he never let up on Tate and it paid off…for both of them.
These two characters are a perfect match and complement each other beautifully. When Logan decides he wants to be more dominant in the bedroom, Tate is following his lead. The same is true for Tate when he wants to take the lead.
“Come here,” Logan ordered, crooking his finger at him, “and I’ll show you how I get my facts.”
Tate was off of the couch and standing in front of Logan without a second thought. He looked down at where Logan was lounged back in his seat and saw the rigid length of his erection outlined in his pants. Christ, I want him.
“Take off your shirt,” Logan instructed.
And, before you know it, they are off to the bedroom having hot, passionate sex, and their chemistry is off the freakin’ charts. They read each other so well always knowing ahead of time what the other one wants or needs. They have come a long way since the first book, Try, and it is an incredible and amazing how in sync they are with each other.
If you didn’t know it, already, you would never guess Ella Frank had never written M/M romance prior to this series. She nails the emotion, the connection, the angst, hell, everything that you would ever want in a story, she hits it on the head. The execution flowed seamlessly from one book to the other never allowing your focus to waiver.
There is so much happy and elation in this final story and I know I smiled for the biggest part of the book. Ella threw a tailspin in the middle that I did not see coming and I was immediately in tears. BIG SLOPPY TEARS, nose running, and the whole works. I was devastated at the direction she was going. Once I made it over that bump, which led to many lumps in my throat, the story was smooth sailing from then on. I am so impressed with Logan and Tate’s relationship and how much they have grown as a couple.
One of the things that I absolutely love in a story and it usually has me hook, line, and sinker, is when the couple are 100% devoted to each other. Through the good times and the bad they work through their problems together and find the solution. Logan’s personality isn’t always the most patient, but he was really putting forth the effort to show Tate he was committed. And, there is no question that they are completely, wholeheartedly devoted to each other.
The answers that I needed from the previous books were answered in Trust really bringing everything back around full circle. Relationships that needed mended were and some were left at the curb where they belong and hopefully stay.
Logan and Tate, both, have improved immeasurably on their communication skills which only added that much more to their relationship. They are, finally, to the place where they are comfortable just lying around the house or taking a walk through the park. Their main goal is to continue making each other happy and feel loved with no questions and Ella showed that brilliantly. Dreams and visions were fulfilled, past mistakes are in the past, and only a bright, loving, future is ahead for these two amazing men.
I absolutely loved this story so much and can’t say enough how well everything came together. I would love to see them again in the future. Even though this series has ended it’s still possible that a Christmas novella or something of that nature could still come later on. (Hint, Hint.)
I strongly encourage anyone who has never read this series to pick it up and just get enthralled with these two men. This is one of few series that I could pick up again and read over and over. Ella is a natural writing mm romance and I hope she continues with more in the future.
The plot was full of details, her descriptive narrative grabs you, and the originality and creativity that was within these pages is just captivating. There is humor, give and take, tug of war, angst, hot amazingly passionate sex, and a plot filled with so much goodness that you will be on the edge of your seat.
